Meet the Doctors of Sports Performance
Frank Colabella PTA, ATC, CSCS, CGFI-3, SPARQ
Mr. Colabella has been a practicing Physical Therapist Asst, Athletic Trainer and a Strength Conditioning Specialist for 20 years. Mr. Colabella has trained at the Titleist Performance Institute in San Diego where he achieved the highest level of certification in golf fitness, medical and golf biomechanics. In addition he is certified by the National Pitching Assoc. in biomechanics and is a contributing writer for Golf Fitness magazine and Got Game magazine. Frank is a Clinical Instructor for Seton Hall University and Director of Golf performance for the Mercer County Golf Academy. Frank as an Athletic Trainer worked for the 1996 Para Olympics, South jersey Barons, Perfect Game USA, and was a resident Athletic Trainer at the Olympic trainer center in lake Placid NY prior to the 2002 winter Olympics.
For sports performance Frank is Nike SPARQ certified and has worked with high school, collegiate and professional athletes and teams in all sports including: Ryan Howard, Zack Grienke, Chad Billingsly, Jennie Finch, Eugene Monroe, Shaquille O'Neal, Kyle Wilson, Anthony Davis, and Team Florida USA. Frank is one of the only fem sports Biomechanist on the east coast that can evaluate an athlete with the latest in 3-d motion biomechanical analysis using electromagnetic sensors. As a former athlete Frank was a collegiate soccer player earning Honorable mention all American status, a collegiate football player, Olympic athlete in Team Handball and a state ranked racquetball player.
