Dr. Joseph C. Jimenez is cofounder of Performance Spine & Sports Medicine, LLC. As a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, his clinical interests include: Musculoskeletal Medicine, Non-operative Spine and Sports medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Stroke Rehabilitation, Clinical/ Performance Nutrition, Athletic performance enhancement, and Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Jimenez received his training at JFK Rehabilitation Institute of New Jersey and is currently an academic affiliate at JFK. He is an active clinical researcher in the area of optimizing rehabilitation from stroke, brain injury, musculoskeletal/joint and sports injury utilizing cuttingedge rehabilitation techniques, complementary medicine, and nutrition in an integrative fashion for optimal physical function, recovery and performance.
Dr. Jimenez is intimately involved in the business development of the practice including expansion of innovative products and services such as: development of effective nutritional/exercise programs for improved patient outcomes, marketing innovations for improved patient participation, satisfaction and sustained treatment results. Also, his business expertise lends itself in the strategic management of in-house electronic medical record data for practice quality improvement.
Matthias H.Wiederholz, M.D.

Dr. Matthias H. Wiederholz is cofounder of Performance Spine & Sports Medicine, LLC. He is a fellowship-trained interventional pain physician whose clinical interests include: Interventional Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Non-Surgical Orthopaedics.
He received his specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the world-renowned Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management in Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Wiederholz performs a myriad of interventional pain procedures including, but not limited to the following: cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections; cervical, thoracic, and lumbar facet joint injections; cervical, thoracic, and lumbar radiofrequency ablation; sacroiliac joint injections; lumbar sympathetic blocks; lumbar discography; Intra-Discal Electrothermal Treatment (IDET); lumbar percutaneous disc decompression; and cervical and lumbar spinal cord stimulator implant.
Adil Ali, M.D.

Dr. Adil Ali is a medical specialist in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Prior to that he was Chief Resident at the University of Michigan Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He trained in Medical Acupuncture at the Stanford Medical School Helms Medical Institute. Dr. Ali received a medical degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School and at the University of Pennsylvania he completed a bachelor's degree with honors in Anthropology.
Dr. Ali has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and abstracts and has received several national research grants and academic awards. His medical interests include interventional pain management, sports and physical medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine, and integrative pain medicine, nutritional influences on pain, performance medicine, and medical acupuncture.
Dr. Ali performs cervical and lumbar epidural injections, discography, medial branch and intraarticular facet joint injections, cervical and lumbar radiofrequency neurotomy, spinal cord stimulatory trials, electrodiagnostic studies, medical acupuncture, and regenerative injection therapy.
